# David Krasowska > David Krasowska is a Computer Science Ph.D. candidate at Northwestern University working on distributed heterogeneous computing: GPUs, Processing-in-Memory, and HPC runtimes. David Krasowska is a Ph.D. candidate at Northwestern University, advised by Dr. Peter Dinda. His research began at Clemson University collaborating with Argonne National Laboratory on lossy compression for HPC scientific applications. He received the DOE Computational Science Graduate Fellowship for his graduate studies. Currently he explores raising the level of abstraction for programming emerging accelerators, such as multi-GPU systems and Processing-in-Memory (PIM). Expected graduation: December 2027. ## Contact - Email: david@krasow.dev - Phone: +1 (224) 355-2715 - Location: Chicago, IL - [Schedule a meeting](https://calendar.app.google/NMcvTiZxBHDVDKsW9) - [Resume (PDF)](https://krasow.dev/assets/documents/Krasowska_David_resume.pdf) - [Contact card (vCard)](https://krasow.dev/assets/documents/Krasowska_David_contact.vcf) - [GitHub](https://github.com/krasow), [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/krasow/), [Google Scholar](https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=MKrD7IcAAAAJ), [ORCID](https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5411-4722) ## Education - Ph.D. Candidate & M.S. in Computer Science, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL (2023 – Now).
